Hi there. I'm Liz. Come read about my adventures studying China, the Chinese language, Chinese cooking and all things Chinese. This blog is a collection of anecdotes from my recent or recently-passed experiences - my thoughts, feelings, and conclusions regarding my attempt to become Chinese. Or sort of.

This will also serve as my travel blog, so when I am in places that are NOT China, you'll get to hear about those as well.

A Sad Realization

So it looks like my inner dream of being a travel writer has been or is soon to be crushed. I have come to the sad realization that I can't even update my blog regularly. Maybe I will have a better chance of that with my new handy dandy...IPAD! And yes, that was a Blues Clues reference. I am considering changing the nature of this blog in order to post more, but have not decided yet. Meanwhile, the "new" job has some problems, which we are attempting to sort out. In the mean time, I bought a book about how to become a travel writer... :D
